Happy Birthday to MEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Happy Birthday to meeeeeeeeeee, Happy Birthday to meeeeee, Happy Birthday dear MEEEEEEEEEEE, Happy Birthday to meeeeee!

Tuesday was the big day- I turned TWO!!! I will deny it if you ask me how old I am, but it's true, I'm another year older. We've had a bunch of celebrations. Mom had the G's over on Saturday for Badger (sort of Chase's birthday, but not really) party. It was super fun to play with all my cousins.

Me- on the big day!

Comparison shot- I can ALMOST palm a basketball now!!

Tuesday morning Mom and I headed to Milwaukee to check out Flabbergast. It's a big kids place that has bouncey houses and a huge "mouse trap" thing with tunnels and slides. I LOVED it- Mom, well she wasn't a fan of crawling around in the tunnels, but she humored me. And I humored her for pictures.

Wouldn't be a birthday for me if snot and a cough wasn't included!
Good thing that mallet was tied down- I could do some serious damage with it!
Wheel OF FORTUNE- just kidding, but I pretended anyways

It is incredibly hard for Mom to take pictures while I'm bouncing
~ on a side note~
Today was my 2 year check up with Dr Pagel, my pediatrician.
I am FINALLY on the "scale" for height - 15th percentile, and weight - also 15th. This means I'm still on the smaller side- but I'm catching up!!!
Dr. Pagel said I "looked perfect" and, well, you got to believe a doctor right :-)

Heart Camp/Heart Update!

First off- my heart update. Mom and I met with Dr Weinhaus in September- we are ok to delay surgery another 6 months! This is excellent news as we thought it may be as soon as this winter!!! To quote Dr. Dub ("W") "no worse, no better- see ya in 6"

NOW- for the highlight of my fall!!

Mom randomly found this camp in MN for heart kids- and luckily we got in just under the wire for the Family Camp in October! It was all heart kids- their parents/siblings- and it was AWESOME!! Mom learned a lot- I ruled the camp & we had a great weekend!

I was NOT a fan of Arts & Crafts
Costume #2- the night before was mismatched dinner, do you know how hard it is to mismatch when Mom's got every outfit coordinated?? Moneky suit was a bit too small for me, but I didn't care

Costume #3- Circus theme night- the tiger and his trainer

There was a Talent show and nothing could keep me off the stage from doing some sweet dance moves! NOTHING- not even Mom, she tried!
Bearded Folk
Whew! A long day
Some of my new friends! Everyone thought I was adorable and we had an awesome time.

Al's Run 2010

This year for Al's Run a couple of really cool things happened-

The "Children's Champions"- that's me- got to our own shirts! On the back it says "we're the kids you stride for." So it was really cool to be recognized!

Mom and I joined "Team Eddie." Her new friend has a son who also is a heart kid and we joined them on the walk this year!

ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD- Mom and I raised over $1,000! for Children's!!! $1,060 to be exact. We are so happy and blessed to have such generous people in our lives!! THANK YOU+THANK YOU+ THANK YOU!!

Me - post race, waiting for my free drinks~

First Haircut- sniff, sniff. . .

Those sniffles are from Mom- as you can tell she was very sad to see my curls go. . .

Even Tasha said goodbye!

I'm all prepped and ready to go!

Kjersti moves so fast you can't even see it!

Dad needed a new haircut too, so we made a boys night out of it. Haircut, pizza, going to bed late- it was AWESOME!

Mom was so impressed with my new look, she has completely forgotten what I looked like with curls. . . almost.

More Fall Fun!

This fall was the warmest we've ever had- EVER! So during halftime one Sunday Mom and I headed to the park.

I LOVED the slide---

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

On October 15th my cousin Lena turned, well, "older"- so to celebrate I went a little crazy and turned into a Hawkeye fan. She loved it, some of Mom's friends- not so much! But I don't mind, she's cooking up a cousin for me (GIRL!) so we do what we can to keep her happy :-)
