Busy Weekend

We had a busy weekend, Saturday Mom took me to her friend's wedding. I was her new "plus one" & I was chaaarming! The ladies were loving me!!!
Sunday was a lunch date with my cousin Kendall at TGI Fridays & then off to Milwaukee for my boy Carter's Bday. He's TWO!! Last year I was hiding out, so this year we did it up big with swimming, bike riding & I even snatched some cake from Will- the picture is me eyeing up his plate. I had peas, he had cake- so not fair!
It was a long day for sure, but totally worth it.
And PS- check out my new shoes!

What's up now!

This was a very big week for me, not only did I learn to clap, wave goodbye AND shake my head "no"- with excellent comic timing by the way!
I also got the ok to wear my "special shoes" at night only!!! Dr Noonan said my feet look so good, he couldn't believe it was both feet! So Mom and I went shopping for new shoes yesterday. She was a little disappointed on the selection, but I talked her into some sandals & sneakers. Gpa Lehman will be SO excited when he comes back from Canada today- he hates my "special shoes."
Oh! Almost forgot, our Birth to Three lady, Tracy, came out with my PT crush (Darcy) and did my 6 month eval. I know I'm almost nine months, but I've been working with them since I got home. She said ,and I quote:
"For only 8/1/2 months, he seems ahead of the game in the areas of speech and fine motor." !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Take that!
Still a rockstar- Chase :-)

Time to Baby Proof!

This weekend, while Mom was away at Girl's Weekend, I learned some (or perfected) some new tricks with Dad & Gma & Gpa Klett. I can now:
* sit pretty much unattended (without shoes!) for long periods of time
* get up on all fours!!!
* play with my toys that require me to put items into a container, and Mom's favorite!
* SCOOT! it's like crawling, but BACKWARDS!! I scooted all over yesterday, which means Moms got to clean the house (or at least the floors) more often.
I don't know if she was TRULY happy about me being mobile, but I am! It was a pretty eventful weekend, you'd think I'd be tired, but I was able to show Gma Lehman all my new tricks last night too. We got some video of it, as soon as Mom figures out how she'll post those too.

Our First July 4th!

Our first 4th of July found us at Stoughton's carnival/fair this weekend. It was an interesting expierence for sure. Since my rule on rides are "anything that can be put together in less than a day is a no-no" we didn't go on anything. But we got to see a lot of animals, Chase was very interested in the chicks (baby chickens! not girls)

We hung out with Aunt Tara & Uncle Kevin and Dustin & Charrley- I love the picture of the three in the face cutouts!

It was a very long day so we didn't see any fireworks that night, but the last picture is us at Gompers for Rhythm and Booms. I woke Chase up to watch the show. He stayed up for about 15 mins of it, which I would call a success.

More Grandparents!!!

Chase got to meet his Great Grandma & Great Grandpa Klett this weekend! He is the luckiest little boy, he's got 8 Great-Grandparents! Everyone loves to hold him and watch him, especially now that he's "talking" and rolling everywhere.

Pool time & R&B

Chase is turning into a regular Michael Phelps. Well, he likes going under water so it's a start. Here's some more pictures of pool time along with a couple of him and his Uncle Tommy :-)
I also think the one of him and Kendall are cute- even though it looks like he's trying to cop a feel!
